Data isolation
Every request is scoped by database-level row security so coaches and organizations only ever see their own data. Client records, meal plans, and files are isolated per organization at the database layer — not just in the UI.

MacroFuel is used by coaches and gyms who are trusted with sensitive client information. This page is maintained by MacroFuel LLC to summarize how we protect that data in the product today.
Client portal security
Client portal links use unique, high-entropy tokens that map to a single client. Coaches can revoke or rotate a client's portal access at any time from inside the app, immediately invalidating the previous link.
Encryption
All traffic to and from MacroFuel is encrypted in transit with TLS. Stored data — including your client roster, meal plans, and uploaded files — is encrypted at rest using AES-256 on our managed infrastructure.
Privacy
Product analytics used to operate the Service do not receive identifiable client PII — no client names, contact info, physical stats, or meal-plan contents are sent to third-party analytics.
Data ownership
You own the data you and your team enter into MacroFuel. Export your plans and client data from inside the app at any time, or request a full account export or deletion by contacting support.
Security is a shared responsibility. MacroFuel operates the platform and controls listed above. Coaches are responsible for account credentials, client consent, and revoking portal links when a client relationship ends. This page describes current in-product controls and is not a certification.
